I'm leaving xanga.
Now now, for those who, for whatever reason, still want to know what's going on in my odd life, there's another place you can look for such updates. You don't have to be a member of said place in order to comment, I THINK ... maybe. Regardless, you can look at this "other place" any time you want. I'm not leaving you guys for my "new friends", I'm just sticking to one place at a time. Yes, copy-pasta is that annoying.
So, in short, I say farewell to all my xanga buddies. This will be my final post. I'll still be lurking about xanga, leaving an occasional comment or two for a very select few, but for the most part, I'll be in this "other place".
Don't ask about the title. For no reason at all, it popped into my head and I was like "duurrr, me rite titlez" @_@ ... yeah. Then again, maybe it came into my head because this is going to be the first post in a long time in which I'll be having sections in it (remember my old gaming posts, where the game stuff was in it's own section? That sort of thing).

MUGGY. Today is so freakin' muggy it's just ... ugh. All summer, I didn't have to wear a sleeveless top because I was inside all day, in the cool basement. But now? It's so damned humid and muggy and blargh that I HAVE to or else I'll collapse >> Wondrous, no?
Well, my days have been going by really quickly ... college starts in less than a month and I'm already eager to get it started :3 I also want to get a job fairly badly, mainly to pay off the Stahn and BT cosplays, as well as the hotel for Otakon '08 and Otakon itself. Whew ... my kingdom for cosplay. Eh, some people would sit back and say either "Make it yourself!" or "What a waste of money!", but I have no sewing/crafting skills AND I'm not some big-spender really (unless GameStop happens to have several things I want or I'm unleashed in Kismet Comics) ...
PLUS, why the hell would I want to deal with the MTA to get down to Kismet and GameStop when I don't have to? Oh, and apparently, there is no "MTA" outside of NY, since I've said "Oh, the freakin NY MTA is just ... AUGH!" and people are like "lol wat r MTA?", so ... yeah.

Man, I forgot how dangerous it is to be a WHM (white mage) and playing solo ... although, I did get to be cool at one point - a lvl 2 WAR (warrior) was trying to run away from a Orcish Grappler, so I checked the thing, it said "Decent Challenge" which to a WHM means "You DO have a chance in hell! :D ", so I kicked it's ass :3 Felt good. Savin' the n00blets, and I'm only lvl 5 for now XD All I can do is use Cure and Banish >>;
... yeah, I miss the good ol' days, when I could just whine to Rhu and I'd get 50K gil ... man ... DAMMIT RHU! COME BACK!!! T_T
*sniffle* ... meh. I think his account was frozen and sieged anyway. Too bad I don't know my old account's 50 million letter name ... I can't ever log back into my Kyio again ._.; I thought I deleted my account, but apparently, my character stayed. Nyeh ... meh.

Well, today, I picked up FFXI's Vana'Diel Collection 2007, which has the main game and all three expansions (heh, turns out there's going to be a NEW expansion coming out soon, too). Well, about 4 hours later (jeeeeeez, 17K+ patches?!), I finally got to register my first character.
Now, while waiting, I was watching my .hack//SIGN DVD collection. As a joke, I decided to register my male white mage as "Tsukasa". I knew that, especially since this was a popular, well-known online game, getting the user name "Tsukasa" or "BT" or "Bear" or any name like that would be close to impossible, right? Right??? ... well ...
... if anyone's on FFXI's Seraph server, don't be afraid to give me a shout out - I'm a male white mage named "Tsukasa" XD
Yeah, I cracked up when I saw that the name was accepted. Either there are no Tsukasas on the Seraph server or none of the American network, and if THAT'S true, then I am 100000% shocked. I'm going to make my second character on my ol' Valefore server ... and I'm naming her "BT" or "Subaru". If either of those work, then I will seriously laugh out loud.
I'm still shocked that "Tsukasa" passed.
Oh yeah, and apparently, in the game, some kind of summer festival thingy was going on ... I logged on for the first time, just in time to see the in-game fireworks go off :3 That was pretty cool. I took some screenshots, but I can't find them ^_^; Go figure. I'll have to look in the root directory and so on ect ...
As for news on that 2nd quote for Stahn? I haven't heard anything, so I'm assuming that, since I didn't exactly follow the proper format in asking for a 2nd quote, that I'll have to resend the quote e-mail. I think I'll send out for BT first, since I've decided (this time, it's permanent) to cosplay as Stahn 2x and BT for whatever day the .hack photoshoot is on.
I'll send out for a 2nd Stahn quote some time in December and a BT quote some time in January or November. I'll have to figure that out later.
Hm ... well ... not much else to say ... can't wait for college to start :3 ... a brand new experience ... I hope my first term/year goes well.

I know this woman my dad's seeing is trying to be a mother figure to
me. Yeah, that's nice of her and all, but seriously: I HAD A MOTHER.
Yes, she did pass away and there is no longer a mother figure standing
in front of me, but for Raa's sake, my REAL mother did not nag me and
try to change me into someone I'm NOT. Christ ... this woman is just
... UGHHHHH!!! ...
So yeah, this morning, when I realized she
wasn't in the house (jubilation!), I decided to (once more) try beating
Miktran from the Tales of Destiny remake. As usual, I put the wrong
memory card in slot 1, but this time, a message came up that I hadn't
seen before. First of all, it had kanji, so I was like "NOOooOOoo!!!!"
because I fail at kanji. Secondly, I noticed that it was stating some
sort of error for my memory card. So yeah ... I reset the PS2, let it
go through it's red screen of "I-CAUGHT-J00~", and checked my red
memory card ... guess what? Corrupted data. I lost everything that was
on my red memory card ... and what was on said card?
Uh ... hm
... huh ... I ah ... I'm not quite sure. But whatever was on there,
watch it be something important. I'll cry. Seriously ._.
As for
how today's been going since the tragic loss of unknown data, it's been
going pretty fast for some odd reason. Maybe it's because I want
tomorrow to come really badly (I'm going to apply to a bunch of Barnes
N' Nobles AND get FFXI for my PC) ... or maybe it's because my days
lately have been going like this:
=> Wake up => Listen to music to ACTUALLY wake up => Go online => Take small breaks to watch anime / read the last Harry Potter book / play a lil' PS2 / listen to more music => Eat / cook dinner => Go back online => Sleep
Yeah.
Tough life, huh? Regardless, I really want to get a job ... not only is
it an income I'd like to have, but it's something to DO. I'm sure lots
of people would love to be able to just lounge around the house all day
with nothing and no one to bother you but your klutzy black cat (I love
you anyway, Ninja <3), but honestly, it does get boring.
